Ensemble Health Partners was named the best company for end-to-end revenue cycle outsourcing in 2024 by KLAS Research.
Here are eight partnerships the RCM company struck this year:
1. Ensemble struck an agreement Nov. 19 to provide end-to-end revenue cycle services for two of Greensburg, Pa.-based Independence Health System's hospitals. The RCM company will provide services for Butler (Pa.) Memorial Hospital and Clarion (Pa.) Hospital as well as Butler Medical Providers and the system's FasterCare urgent care facilities.
2. Fredericksburg, Va.-based Mary Washington Healthcare on Oct. 3 selected Ensemble for a revenue cycle management partnership.
3. Roanoke, Va.-based Carilion Clinic on July 10 selected Ensemble for an end-to-end revenue cycle partnership. Carilion is transitioning its RCM operations in September. All 780 of the health system's revenue cycle employees are being offered comparable positions at Ensemble
4. Ensemble said April 23 it is expanding its partnership with Microsoft to accelerate innovation of EIQ, its proprietary revenue cycle intelligence platform.
5. West Reading, Pa.-based Tower Health tapped Ensemble to manage the health system's revenue cycle operations. Tower Health transitioned its revenue cycle operations, utilization review, patient access services, and provider advisers to Ensemble on July 1. Around 675 Tower Health employees were rebadged as Ensemble employees.
6. Lewes, Del.-based Beebe Healthcare on March 7 selected Ensemble to manage all of its revenue cycle operations. About 260 employees in Beebe's revenue cycle department will transition to Ensemble in the coming months.
7. Ensemble announced Jan. 31 it would be joining Epic's new Rev Cycle Partners program, which is designed to help healthcare organizations optimize their use of Epic to improve revenue cycle outcomes. Through the program, Ensemble will gain access to additional tools and insights to strengthen its Epic expertise.
8. Tallahassee (Fla.) Memorial HealthCare entered into an RCM partnership Jan. 9 with Ensemble. Memorial CFO Priscilla Needham said the partnership supports the health system's goals of providing patients with exceptional care and meeting the healthcare needs of the communities it serves.
