15 RCM service expansions in February

Here are 15 revenue cycle management portfolio expansions involving healthcare vendors and providers in February.

1. Health IT vendor eClinicalWorks will offer hospitals and health systems a new platform for acute care EHR and revenue cycle management.

2. Revint Solutions, a national healthcare solutions and consulting services provider, acquired healthcare data analytics firm Naveos.

3. St. Louis-based Ascension choseR1 RCM to serve its medical group's physician practice care sites.

4. R1 RCM entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Intermedix Corp. for approximately $460 million.

5. Ability Network and Hands On Technology are joining forces on RCM offerings for physical therapy providers.

6. Cincinnati-based Mercy Health chose healthcare RCM company PMMC for contract management and modeling.

7. Chicago-based Presence Health plans to deploy R1 RCM's end-to-end revenue cycle services across its 10 hospitals and more than 150 Illinois physician care locations.

8. Daytona Beach, Fla.-based Halifax Health and AccessOne entered a revenue cycle management partnership.

9. Healthcare payment solutions provider Rectangle Health and Jacksonville, Ark.-based North Metro Medical Center entered an RCM partnership.

10. GeBBS, an RCM and health information management solutions provider, joined forces with Continuum Health, a provider of physician engagement and payer value-based solutions, for RCM solutions.

11. Revenue cycle solutions provider Surgical Notes released an updated mobile transcription app for its ambulatory surgery center and surgical hospital clients.

12. Windham Brannon and Digitize.AI are teaming up to deliver artificial intelligence and intelligent automation resources to healthcare providers for improved revenue cycle management performance.

13. San Francisco-based Pacific Inpatient Medical Group, a 100-plus physician organization on seven Sutter Health campuses in northern California, implemented MD Coder 10 Charge Capture Solution software from Medical Design Technologies.

14. Revenue cycle management organizations Navicure and ZirMed revealed the name of their combined company: Waystar.

15. InSync Healthcare Solutions, a cloud-based healthcare technology software provider, added Encoda's BackOffice platform to its revenue cycle offerings.
