Orlando (Fla.) Health, a $3.4 billion nonprofit provider, has purchased more land in Central Florida, according to the Orlando Business Journal.
The health system bought 2.86 acres Oct. 29 "to support future operations at its downtown campus," Orlando Health said.
The land has a 18,290-square-foot, two-story building with office and warehouse space. It is unclear what the system will use the land or building for.
In the last year, Orlando Health has acquired several other parcels in Florida, including 15.13 vacant acres near Lake Nona, 51 acres of former grazing land in Apopka, and 6.3 acres in Kissimmee.
Orlando Health's eight hospitals in Central Florida have more than 3,300 beds.
