Cleveland Clinic plans to build Express Care facility downtown

Cleveland (Ohio) Clinic will open a small medical office and Express Care facility downtown, according to Cleveland.com. The Clinic signed a 10-year lease on the space.

Like the hospital's other Express Care facilities, the office will provide walk-in attention, but will also offer appointments for downtown residents who are not able to make it to the hospital's main campus. The building will also accommodate at least six exam rooms.

The Clinic's Director of Strategic Project Development Brian Smith said many of the details, such as the clinic's hours, have yet to be established, according to the Cleveland.com report.

Cleveland Clinic has 14 Express Care locations. For patients with acceptable health insurance, an appointment at the office will cost the same as a visit to a primary care physician.
