Veradigm makes EHR data available in Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership format

Veradigm, formerly known as Allscripts, is making network EHR data available within the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership and Common Data Model format.

The deidentified dataset, which contains three integrated EHR sources, is now available in Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership and Common Data Model format version 5.3.1, according to a Jan. 30 release from Veradigm.

The Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership and Common Data Model format, run by the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics, aims to standardize the structure and content of data.

"The transformation of Veradigm Network EHR Data into the OMOP data set will facilitate data sales for clients who need the data delivered in OMOP format," said Stuart Green, senior vice president and general manager of Veradigm. "This new delivery format will provide the flexibility our clients need so they can answer research questions critical to their business."

Veradigm customers will now be able to use Veradigm Evalytica to build code sets, define re-usable cohorts and conduct analysis using OMOP'd Veradigm Network EHR Data, according to the release.
