Oracle has launched a new version of its generative AI-powered digital assistant for clinicians.
Integrated into the Oracle Health EHR, the voice-activated Clinical AI Agent, formerly known as the Clinical Digital Assistant, generates notes and suggests follow-ups such as labs and referrals.
"Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent exemplifies the ability of Oracle AI to overcome longstanding industry challenges," Oracle Health General Manager Seema Verma said in an Oct. 29 statement. "From reducing burnout to enhancing patient satisfaction and improving reimbursement processes, the Clinical AI Agent is changing the lives of practitioners and the patients they serve."
Health systems that have adopted the platform include Atlantic City, N.J.-based AtlantiCare, Billings (Mont.) Clinic, Knoxville, Tenn.-based Covenant Health, South Bend, Ind.-based Beacon Health System, and Paterson, N.J.-based St. Joseph's Health. AtlantiCare, for instance, said its providers saved 41% on documentation time, or 66 minutes a day, after deploying the tool.
