Technology company Leidos has helped deploy MHS Genesis, the Defense Department's EHR, at nine new military treatment facilities across the Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., area, including Bethesda, Md.-based Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
The newest wave of deployments delivers the EHR system to an additional 14,000 clinicians.
The Leidos Partnership for Defense Health helped design and develop MHS Genesis, according to a March 31 Leidos news release shared with Becker’s.
With the latest deployments, MHS Genesis covers 81 percent of the personnel deployed to Defense Department facilities.
