eClinicalWorks posts $130M earnings in Q3 FY 17

Dallas-based eClinicalWorks reported $130 million in revenue for the third quarter of fiscal year 2017, the company announced at its National Conference in Grapevine, Texas Oct. 6.

The health IT vendor added more than 3,750 providers to its network, including contracts with small, midsized and large clients such as ambulatory surgery centers and ACOs.

More than 80 percent of physicians who selected eClinicalWorks in the third quarter switched from other EHR vendors such as Chicago-based GE Centricity, Chicago-based Allscripts and Watertown, Mass-based athenahealth.

eClinicalWorks is a privately held company and is not required to release its full financial statements.
