Cerner reported $1.43 billion in revenue for the third quarter of 2019, which ended Sept. 28.
Five things to know:
1. The Kansas City, Mo.-based EHR vendor posted a 7 percent uptick in revenue, up from $1.34 billion during the same period last year.
2. Most of Cerner's third quarter revenue was generated from professional services at $507.46 million, up from $456.73 million in the third quarter of 2018.
3. Other major revenue drivers included managed services ($302.44 million), support and maintenance ($277.3 million) and licensed software ($154.53 million).
4. Cerner reported $81.93 million in net earnings for the third quarter, down from $169.39 million during the same period last year.
5. The EHR vendor anticipates its fourth quarter 2019 revenue to be between $1.41 billion and $1.46 billion.
