1. Cerner may be dragging down Oracle's stock price as the software giant incorporates the EHR vendor into its portfolio, Yahoo Finance reported Oct. 23.
2. Cerner is moving the scheduling and registration components within its EHR to the front end of the Millennium application with the clinical teams and putting the financial side into another application called RevElate, so Cerner hospitals will have to prepare, revenue cycle and IT expert Cynthia Casatelli told Becker's for an Oct. 9 story.
3. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs signed a data-sharing pledge with 13 health systems as the VA looks to resume its Oracle Cerner EHR rollout next summer, Federal News Network reported Oct. 6.
