McKesson's iKnowMedSM is the No.1 EHR for oncology and hematology specialists based on client experience ratings, according to Black Book Market Research.
Black Book asked 879 clinicians and physicians from 782 oncology physician practices to rank oncology-centric applications based on their experiences using them against 18 performance indicators. Clients rated iKnowMedSM highest, marking the EHR's seventh consecutive year as No. 1 in the oncology and hematology specialty.
"Oncology product and vendor loyalty among these niche EHR specialists are on the upward trajectory," said Black Book President and CEO Doug Brown. "Vendors are judged on their abilities to meet the evolving demands of interoperability, networking, mobile devices, accountable care, patient accessibility, customization for oncology specialty workflow and reimbursement reforms."
