Below are nine health systems that launched a new Epic EHR system or announced plans to do so since Dec. 21:
- Princeton (W.V.) Community Hospital will move onto the Morgantown-based WVU Medicine's Epic EHR. The transition will begin March 1.
- Memphis, Tenn.-based Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is moving to an Epic EHR system as it looks to provide patients with a single integrated EHR system.
- University Hospitals in Cleveland is working on a full transition to an Epic EHR and hopes to have a fully unified EHR platform by the end of 2023.
- Prince William Medical Center, Haymarket Medical Center, UVA Health Cancer Care Gainesville (Va.), UVA Health Bull Run Family Medicine and UVA Health Obstetrics and Gynecology moved to an Epic EHR system after their recent acquisition by Charlottesville, Va.-based UVA Health.
- Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center said its Epic EHR integration will go live in 2024. The health system is currently in its "build phase," which is slated to run until March 2023.
