8 Allscripts implementations, go-lives this year

Eight hospitals and health systems have implemented or announced plans to deploy Allscripts EHR software this year.

1. Beaver, Pa.-based Heritage Valley Health System signed a 10-year extension and expansion agreement with Allscripts.

2. Blessing Health System in Quincy, Ill., expanded its 15-year partnership with Allscripts and added more solutions.

3. Chicago-based Saint Anthony Hospital added to its contract with Allscripts, signing a Paragon EHR expansion and integrating more solutions.

4. Arise Austin (Texas) Medical Center and The Hospital at Westlake Medical Center in Austin will implement Allscripts' EHR.

5. Chicago-based Northwestern Medicine and Alfardan Medical chose Allscripts' EHR for their ambulatory care services facility in Qatar.

6. Abilene, Texas-based Hendrick Health System is expanding its contract with Allscripts to develop a single, integrated clinical and financial EHR.

7. St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City, Philippines, will implement Allscripts' Sunrise Acute Care EHR system to move its patient records for surgical, radiology, laboratory and ambulatory services onto a single system.

8. Augusta-based MaineGeneral Health is expanding its contract with EHR vendor Allscripts through 2027.
