Eastland (Texas) Memorial Hospital, Pawhuska (Okla.) Hospital and Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital in Manistique, Mich., each recently partnered with Cerner to implement the vendor's EHR cloud-based platform.
The three rural hospitals will implement Cerner's CommunityWorks EHR system, which uses a cloud-based delivery model to provide full EHR access for smaller health systems and critical access and specialty hospitals.
Three notes:
1. Eastland Memorial Hospital will deploy the Cerner EHR across its hospital and clinic in Texas as well as its new rural healthcare clinic, which will break ground this year.
2. Pawhuska Hospital will implement its Cerner EHR system at both its hospital and rural health clinic.
3. Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital will work with Cerner for the next 10 years to deploy an EHR system across its critical access hospital and clinic.
