CVS Health CEO says Signify acquisition will advance its value-based care strategy

CVS Health President and CEO Karen Lynch said the company's $8 billion acquistion of Signify Health will advance its value-based care strategy, as well as help CVS redefine how care is received.

Under the acquisition, Signify Health and CVS will work together to improve care delivery, lower care costs, and improve engagement and access to care for Medicare Advantage customers, according to a March 29 release from Signify Health. 

CVS Health finalized its acquisition of Signify Health on March 29. The acquisition gives the company access to more than 10,000 clinicians.    

Signify Health's CEO Kyle Armbrester will continue to lead the company and operate it as a payor-agnostic business.
