NewYork-Presbyterian, based in New York City, won two Emmy Awards for Best Commercial and Best Editor in Short Form Content.
The winning commercial, created with Havas New York, tells the story of Jack Foley, a boy born with a rare congenital heart defect. In the category of Best Editor, the video "Saving Two Babies' Lives with One Pioneering Approach to Heart Valve Transplantation," produced by NewYork-Presbyterian's team, highlights the lives of two infants facing life-threatening heart defects and the innovative techniques used to save them.
The health system received a total of eight nominations at the 67th Annual New York Emmy Awards, according to an Oct. 29 news release.
NewYork-Presbyterian has now accumulated four Emmy Awards.
