Phoenix-based Banner Health Foundation has received a $1 million gift from professional baseball team the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The donation will support the development of professional-level baseball training for young players, according to a May 17 news release from the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Additionally, Banner's Sports Medicine's High Performance Center will be made available to all athletes who want to train at the professional level.
