Data analytics company Health Catalyst has named Melissa Welch, MD, chief medical officer and Edward Sheen, MD, chief population health officer.

An internist with a background in public health epidemiology, Dr. Welch also brings her experience as a healthcare diversity and cultural competence consultant.
A practicing physician and medical school professor, Dr. Sheen has worked with health systems and payers in dozens of states on value-based care initiatives.
