Digital health company raises $80M

Despite a more difficult digital health funding environment, digital healthcare guidance company Amino Health has raised $80 million in financing.

Amino is a digital healthcare guidance company that aims to connect users with providers and health benefits. The company has 1.6 million members, according to a May 11 Amino Health news release.

The equity and debt financing was led by Transformation Capital and Oxford Finance.

"This investment and financing validates our core belief that putting people first has value in healthcare, and the need for pioneering technology solutions that support this endeavor is not only important — it's imperative," Amino Health CEO David Vivero said in the release. "In a crowded, highly regulated market, this funding will fuel Amino's continued growth, product innovation and ability to facilitate deep integrations with enterprise partners to support more patients at scale."
