Malware attack disrupts operations at Indiana medical center

A malware attack caused a disruption in daily operations at South Bend (Ind.) Clinic last week, according to local NBC affiliate WNDU.

The clinic contacted an outside cybersecurity firm and took steps to protect patient data. South Bend Clinic was able to fight off the malware attack.

South Bend Clinic has since purchased new phones and replaced computers in order to further ensure patient information is safe. The clinic confirmed that no patient data was exposed.
