The MOVEit data breach continues to take more victims across a variety of industries, including hospitals and health systems across the U.S. as well as CMS.
Here are the six healthcare organizations that have reported to be affected by the breach so far:
- Medicare beneficiaries from CMS
- UT Southwestern Medical Center, based in Dallas
- Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, based in St. Petersburg, Fla.
- UofLHealth, based in Louisville, Ky.
- Johns Hopkins Health System, based in Baltimore
- Harris Health System, based in Bellaire, Texas
Russian-backed ransomware gang Clop has claimed responsibility for the large hacking of the MOVEit software and has been reportedly putting the stolen data onto the dark web.
