University of Cincinnati Health has boosted minimum wage to $15 an hour and is providing market pay adjustments and an incentive program for employees, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported Jan. 10.
The minimum wage increase, which went into effect Jan. 9, affects about 200 employees.
The incentive program includes a payout that's dependent on patient experience, quality of care and employee engagement.
"We know our employees have a choice about where they work — and we are committed to investing in and supporting each of our team members," the health system said in a statement, according to the Enquirer.
