Most US workers doubt pay raises ahead: Survey

Fewer than half of U.S. employees expect a pay raise in the next six months, according to a recent LinkedIn News survey.

The survey included responses gathered from 4,328 professionals from Sept. 21 to Oct. 18, according to the Nov. 21 LinkedIn News post.

Of those surveyed, 45% said they expect a raise in the next six months. Twenty-two percent said they expect a promotion within the next year.

A separate LinkedIn News survey found that 49% of U.S. executives said raises and promotions are more limited at their organizations compared to previous years, according to the post.
