Last month, Physicians Practice released its 2012 Staff Salary Survey, and nurses and nurse managers saw average annual salary increases of 4 percent and 12 percent, respectively.
For its survey, Physicians Practice gathered data from physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurse managers, registered nurses, billing managers, medical billers, medical assistants, front desk staff and medical record clerks from more than 1,260 medical practices.
