Marietta, Ohio-based Memorial Health System is taking its clinical expertise to a new level by joining the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
The network, which has approximately 45 member organizations both across the U.S. and in other parts of the world, allows such organizations to rely on the expertise of the Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic and combine that with local healthcare providers to ensure the best patient care, Mayo said Aug. 3.
"This new collaboration with Mayo Clinic helps us fulfill our mission to bring the best healthcare and highest clinical expertise to our communities so people can receive care at home," Memorial Health President and CEO Scott Cantley said in a statement.
Providers at Memorial Health, which has care sites in its home state and West Virginia, will have access to Mayo databases and personnel to boost patient care as well as help in their own professional development.
