Darlington, Wis.-based Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County broke ground on a new $64.8 million replacement hospital and clinic, The Monroe Times reported July 18.
The current facility in Darlington has been serving patients since 1952. Upgrades in the 80,000-square-foot facility include two operating rooms, a diagnostic imaging unit and a surgical unit.
The facility is expected to be complete by fall 2024.
