The Medical College of Wisconsin is planning to build a $100 million cancer research center at its Wauwatosa campus, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The plan will consolidate cancer research labs, equipment and staff on the campus. Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers included $15 million for the center in his proposed budget.
"The Medical College of Wisconsin deeply appreciates Gov. Evers' proposed investment for a cancer research facility on our campus," John R. Raymond Sr., MD, president and CEO of the school, said in a news release.
