Edgewood, Ky.-based St. Elizabeth Healthcare is building a new $125 million hospital in Greendale, Ind., local radio station 99.3FM reported Oct. 3.
The three-story, 120,000-square-foot facility will be adjacent to the health system's existing physician offices in Greendale, and the St. Elizabeth Cancer Center, which is currently under construction and scheduled to open in the spring.
The new hospital will include inpatient care, surgery, an emergency department, pharmacy, laboratory, imaging, endoscopy, interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization, according to the radio station. The health system anticipates it will open in 2027.
