 2. Mark Keroack, MD, president and CEO of Springfield, Mass.-based Baystate Health, and his wife, Ann Errichetti, MD, have created an endowed fund to support future physicians who will train at the health system.  3. The Nationwide Foundation is gifting Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Children's Hospital $100 million. Nationwide Children's will receive the funds over the course of 10 years and will be used to fund the hospital's strategic plan. That plan includes Advancing cutting-edge treatment and discovery through integrated clinical care and research, as well as creating a national model for expanding access to behavioral health services.

4. Phoenix-based Banner Health Foundation received a $1 million gift from professional baseball team the Arizona Diamondbacks.
