Lewes, Del.-based Beebe Healthcare aims to begin construction this month of a $124 million, full-service hospital focusing on short-stay surgical procedures, according to Delaware Public Media.
The new hospital, which will be in Rehoboth Beach, Del., will free up space at the Lewes campus for longer-stay procedures.
The new four-story facility will have 12 private patient rooms, four operating rooms and an OB-GYN program.
The hospital is expected to open next year and will add at least 70 full time jobs.
