Advocate Aurora Health, a recently merged entity comprised of Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care and Milwaukee-based Aurora Healthcare, broke ground Oct. 9 on a $130 million ambulatory surgery center and medical office building, according to Kenosha News.
The facility will include a 100,000-square-foot ASC and a 100,000-square-foot professional office building. It will house general surgery, orthopedics, pediatric specialty services and will have space for a pharmacy, laboratory and rehabilitation areas.
The facility, slated to open in summer 2020, will be located in Prairie Highlands Corporate Park in Pleasant Prairie, Wis.
