Appleton, Wis.-based ThedaCare plans to build a $144 million specialty hospital for orthopedic, spine and pain treatment, according to the Appleton Post-Crescent.
The 230,00-square-foot facility will house outpatient medical offices and 25 inpatient beds and recovery rooms.
The hospital will be on ThedaCare's Encircle Health campus in Appleton.
The provider is partnering with the Hand to Shoulder Center of Wisconsin and the Neuroscience Group to bring experienced providers to the hospital.
The center is expected to open in late 2021.
