Prosser (Wash.) Memorial Health is due to complete the construction of its $112 million replacement hospital with a topping off ceremony Oct. 26, according to a Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business report.
The publicly owned rural hospital is financing the project mainly through an $80.5 million loan from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The delayed project, now set to see an opening date of 2025, will replace an existing 25-bed hospital, which is likely to be razed and rezoned as a residential community, or sold.
