Boeing drives nearly 20% of Dow's gains over past year

The Dow Jones Industrial Average broke 25,000 Jan. 4, a rally propelled by aviation giant Boeing, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Boeing drove nearly 20 percent of the Dow's gains from its first close above 20,000 in January 2017 to Thursday's move past 25,000.

Boeing gained 87 percent during the past year, according to The Dallas Morning News.
