Dennis Burke. President and CEO of Good Shepherd Health Care System (Hermiston, Ore.). As president and CEO of Good Shepherd Health Care System, Mr. Burke oversees Good Shepherd Medical Center, a nonprofit hospital in Hermiston, Ore., with 40 physicians on staff and more than 500 employees. The health system also includes Good Shepherd Medical Group and a trauma level 3 emergency room. He oversaw the health system in 2015 when iVantage Health Analytics and the National Organization of State Office of Rural Health recognized GSHCS as a top acute care hospital in the country. In addition to his role with Good Shepherd, Mr. Burke has served on the American Hospital Association's Small and Rural Governing Council as an alternate and is part of the system's efforts to develop a transitional care program alongside Gig Harbor, Wash.-based CHI St. Anthony Hospital and Allevant Solutions.
