Kaiser Permanente San Jose (Calif.) Medical Center. Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center employs several green-thinking strategies, such as the installation of 10 electric vehicle charging stations on campus. The health system installed a bank of fuel cells to generate electricity for several San Jose Medical Center buildings, reducing reliance on the power grid and lowering energy costs.
