Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center is a 242-bed hospital that participates in all six HHI Challenges and was given the Healthy Food Circle of Excellence Award by Practice Greenhealth in 2015. The medical center has also received the Practice Greenhealth Emerald Partner For Change Award the past two years. San Jose Medical Center is a member of Kaiser Permanente, which was included on the EPA's National Top 100 list of the largest green power users within the EPA Green Power Partnership.
