Nancy Vish, RN, PhD. President and CNO of Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital (Dallas). Dr. Vish joined Baylor University Medical Center in 1996 as program manager and director for its Cardiac Cath Lab, EP/PM Lab, Coronary Care Unit and Interventional Cardiology Unit, and became Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital's president and CNO in 2005. Under Dr. Vish's leadership, Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital has earned the Press Ganey Summit Award for three consecutive years and achieved Magnet designation for excellence in nursing services from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. When the Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital opened in 2002, she was selected as its first vice president of clinical operations and CNO, managing the development and finances for 50 inpatient beds, three recovery units, interventional cardiac cath labs, three electrophysiology labs and four operating rooms.
