Lisa E. Harris, MD. CEO of Eskenazi Health (Indianapolis). As medical director and CEO of Eskenazi Health, formerly Wishard Health System, Dr. Harris oversees a workforce of roughly 4,470 and one of the largest safety-net health systems in the nation. Before stepping into her role in 2004, Dr. Harris was chief of medicine of Eskenazi Health and CMO of the primary care division of Indiana University Medical Group, Bloomington-based Indiana University School of Medicine's faculty practice. Dr. Harris is past chair of America's Essential Hospitals and serves as medical director and president-elect of the board of directors for the American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis.
