The Texas Spine and Joint Hospital, a 20-bed physician-owned multispecialty hospital, opened in 2002. The hospital has seven departments, including sports medicine, back and neck, joint replacement and pain management. Healthgrades has given the hospital several orthopedic-centric awards, including the Spine Surgery Excellence Award and the Joint Replacement Excellence Award, recognizing it for superior outcomes in knee and hip replacement and resurfacing. CareChex ranked Texas Spine and Joint Hospital among the top 100 in the country for spinal surgery this year as well.
