Trinity Mother Frances Orthopedics and Sports Medicine provides comprehensive orthopedic care and athletic training. The program cares for athletes from The University of Texas at Tyler, Texas College in Tyler, Kilgore (Texas) College and 25 high schools. Mother Frances Hospital is a Blue Distinction Center+ for hip and knee replacement as well as spine surgery. In 2014, the hospital was named one of the top 100 in the nation for orthopedic surgery by CareChex. It was also ranked as one of the 100 top hospitals overall in the U.S. by Truven Health Analytics this year.
