John Muir Health's two hospitals, in Concord and Walnut Creek, Calif., were named among the top 50 hospitals in the United States for orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report. Its Concord hospital was also named one of the nation's top 100 quality hospitals for orthopedic surgery by CareChex this year. In addition to clinical orthopedic services, the system offers comprehensive services for preventing and treating osteoporosis, including bone density exams and weekly movement and exercise classes led by physical therapists. Both hospitals are Blue Distinction Centers for knee and hip replacement.
