The Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital is the first specialty hospital in the state with a direct focus on orthopedic care. It was established in March 2005 by OrthoIndy, an orthopedic physician practice with more than 70 physicians specializing in a wide array of orthopedic areas. IOH was ranked 11th out of more than 3,000 hospitals for cost efficiency, according to CMS data, and has received national recognition for its outcomes and patient satisfaction.
