Brigham and Women's Hospital has more than 40 physicians at four locations in the greater Boston area who specialize in orthopedic care. Brigham and Women's Hospital has a number of research laboratories, including the Skeletal Biology Research Laboratory, which focuses on skeletal aging, metabolic bone disease, skeletal tissue engineering and osteoinductive materials. Brigham and Women's was recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top 50 hospitals in the nation for orthopedic care in its 2014-15 rankings.
