Stephen Klasko, MD. President and CEO of Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health (Philadelphia). Dr. Klasko has transformed Jefferson Health from a three-hospital organization to a 10-hospital system since taking the helm in 2013. He oversaw Jefferson Health's merger with Philadelphia-based Aria Health in 2016 the health system's merger with Kennedy Health in 2017. Prior to his current role, Dr. Klasko led Tampa, Fla.-based USF Health as CEO and was dean of Tampa-based Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida, where he built the Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation and led a partnership with The Villages, a large retirement community. Extending his leadership beyond Jefferson Health, Dr. Klasko serves as editor-in-chief of Healthcare Transformation and sits on the board of Teleflex, a healthcare solutions firm in Wayne, Pa.
