Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (Los Angeles). The Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute unites 16 centers and programs to treat a full spectrum of heart conditions. Since it established its heart transplant program in 1988, more than 1,000 patients have undergone transplants at Magnet-designated Cedars-Sinai. U.S. News & World Report named Cedars-Sinai as No. 10 in the nation for adult cardiology and heart surgery for 2016-17. The hospital is also a Blue Distinction Center+ for Cardiac Care.
