University of Washington Medical Center (Seattle). The UW Medicine Regional Heart Center offers a wide range of heart care from coronary artery disease treatment to transplantation and more. The heart center also leads a number of clinical trials and offers one of the only full cardiovascular services training programs in the Northwest. UW Medical Center is also recognized as a Magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. U.S. News & World Report ranked the hospital first in the state overall and No. 27 in the nation for cardiology and heart surgery for 2015 to 2016.
