With more than 25 years of experience providing cardiovascular care, UCLA ranks No. 12 in the nation for cardiology and heart surgery by U.S. News & World Report for 2015-16. The medical center houses one of the nation's largest heart and lung transplant programs and offers interventional and surgical treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, minimally invasive and robotic heart valve surgery, and expert surgical and interventional treatment of thoracic aortic aneurysms and aortic dissections, among other services.
