Emory University Hospital Midtown (Atlanta). Emory Heart and Vascular Center's Carlyle Fraser Heart Center has four decades of history providing care to patients. The center offers a cardiac catheterization suite, heart center facilities, a center for heart failure therapy and a new cardiac observation unit. The hospital was named one of the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals by Truven Health Analytics for 2015. It was also ranked No. 15 for cardiology and heart surgery by U.S. News & World Report for 2015-16, and was recognized as high-performing for heart failure and heart bypass surgery in the publication's common care ratings. In addition, Healthgrades recognized the hospital as one of the top 50 hospitals for cardiac surgery and one of the top 100 hospitals for cardiac care this year.
