Billings (Mont.) Clinic. Designated as a Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care, Billings Clinic is a 285-bed hospital serving most of Montana, northern Wyoming and the western Dakotas. In 1972, cardiothoracic surgeons at Billings Clinic performed the first open-heart surgery in Montana. The hospital features the John R. Burg MD Cardiac Center, offering prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation services for heart disease.
